i had a solo stay in a classic double room that was just stunning. the views were absolutely pretty, and the bed was super comfy with loads of pillows. everything was super clean and quiet. breakfast was divine and the staff were really friendly and helpful. one of the best stays ever!
the only downside was there was no aircon in the room and some of the food options were a bit pricey.

The setting by the river and the beautifully tended gardens are truly exquisite. We enjoyed our upgraded room, which was recently refurbished and featured a fabulous modern bathroom. Dining in the garden restaurant was delightful, offering delicious dishes and excellent service. The only downside was the initial availability of only a small room, which felt cozy for two nights but still charming.

Had an awesome time with friends! We checked out the stunning rock formations nearby and explored the beautiful beaches. The staff went above and beyond. Our room was nice, and the dining experience was really enjoyable, especially the fresh orange juice at breakfast. Great value for what we got, and the ambiance in the dining space was a highlight.
One downside was the underwhelming veal schnitzel during dinner. it didn’t quite live up to expectations.

Charming, Charming, Charming
This hotel radiates charm with its quirky, character-filled design—think uneven flagstones and stunning leaded windows! I adored the magnificent gardens where I spent hours soaking in the beauty, not to mention the delicious breakfast that started each day right. Our room was a blend of vintage style and modern comfort, complete with a cozy bed and a walk-in shower, making it an absolute joy to unwind after our adventures.

It was just a prime choice for a holiday in Wareham with good value considering the price it charged. The breakfast was generally extremely good, especially the homemade muesli. If you want coffee, ask for a cafetiere instead of the filter coffee.
